CNC Machinist
Job Description
As a specialty manufacturing company in Southern NH, we are looking for a self-motivated, conscientious and competent machinist.
Responsibilities include setting up and operating Prototrak 3 axis CNC milling machines, Trak TRL Lathe, as well as other machine shop equipment.
First shift, Mon-Fri, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.
Job Requirements
3-5 years machining experience
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and measuring equipment
Supply own tools
Competent in standard machine shop practices
Ability to work overtime as required

We have immediate openings for the following positions:
Injection Molding Set-Up Technician: Set-up and start-up of injection molding machines.
Includes hanging molds, water and hydraulic connections, some processing, initial start-up and
some mold maintenance. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Mold Maker: We produce pre-hard and aluminum ejection and wax tooling. The ideal
candidate should be able to work with minimal supervision and must be a team player. Experience
in CNC programming, EDM, Wire EDM and SurfCAM a plus.
CNC Machinist: Fast growing prototype shop looking for creative, capable, energetic CNC programmer/machinist.
Programmer/machinists responsible for parts from CAD file through, finished part, through inspection.
Typical runs of one to a few parts. Programming with leading edge CAM software (HyperMill). 3-5 axis high speed machining,
some turning and some manual machining. An exciting new process, Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS) available to learn
QC Inspector: checks, tests, and instrument inspection of incoming materials, work in process and finished
molded and machined parts as well as other duties as assigned. Prepare and complete required paperwork to document
inspection results. Familiarity with basic inspection tools and ability to interpret customer drawings required.
Mechanical background and attention to detail needed. Molding and/or machine shop experience with geometric tolerances
and CMM inspection preferred.
All skilled positions require a minimum of 5 years experience.

Seacoast Area
QA Technology Company, Inc.;
a leading manufacturer of test probes, sockets, and contacts, has the
following position available:
SCREW MACHINE OPERATOR / SET-UP PERSON
Performing precision set-ups and operating Screw machines will be the primary focus of this position.
This individual will also, prepare production tooling for this equipment (including precision grinding of cutters), along with, maintenance of the equipment. Ideally, this person would have CAM programming work experience, or, as part of their education. Multiple years of applicable CAM/CNC screw machine experience in industry is desirable, but not required. The candidate must have a minimum of 3-5 years experience on precision grinding/cutting machines, CNC turning of small parts with tight tolerances (.0001"), experience using precision measurement tools (i.e. calipers, mics, toolmaker's microscope, gage blocks/pins, comparator, etc.). The candidate must have the ability to interpret Engineering drawings in addition to having good mathematics skills. Other related duties may apply.

Summary of Position:
Maintains, troubleshoots and repairs CNC machine tools and other electromechanical production equipment.
Applies knowledge of electronics, controls, hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical principles in determining
equipment malfunctions and applies skills in restoring equipment to operation.
Specific Duties:
- Troubleshoots and repairs CNC, PLC, servo and relay controlled production equipment.
- Repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic systems.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of proven experience in the electrical/electronics, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic fields.
- Extensive knowledge and experience maintaining CNC machine tools.
- A thorough knowledge of electrical/ electronic components and equipment including the use of special instruments
for diagnostic purposes.
- Willing to work any shift and overtime as required.
- Computer experience/operation and PLC programming are necessary.
- High school diploma or its equivalent required. Two-year technical degree or accredited apprenticeship program or the equivalent in a technical field is required.
Physical Effort:
- Ability to climb in overhead structures, to work beneath machines and in close quarters performing analysis and repair work.
- Must be able to lift 25+ lbs.

Reads blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals and specifications to determine dimensions
and tolerances of finished part, sequence of operations, and setup and tooling requirements. Demonstrates basic
set-up and thought process for sequence of operations.
Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow,
and depth and angle of cut, or enters commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media.
Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjusts machine
controls or control media as required.
Verifies conformance of finished work piece to specifications, using the appropriate measuring equipment.
Understands how, or able to learn, to use optical comparator height gauge, sine plate, indicators, micrometers,
verniers, depth micrometers, bore gauges, etc
Meets or exceeds standard times for on time delivery.
Follows Labsphere's safety policy in the machining area
Other duties as assigned
