The NHMA is pleased to announce the partnership with the Safety & Health Council of Northern New England (SHCNNE). This partnership will benefit all members of the association. Safety & Health Council of Northern New England is a not-for-profit, non-governmental accredited chapter of the National Safety Council. The Council serves northern New England with primary focus on the State of New Hampshire. Safety & Health Council of Northern New England also conducts weekly training programs in the areas of OSHA compliance, safety committee leadership skills, written safety plans, first aid, CPR, defensive driving, industrial hygiene, and health studies. A Safety Certificate Program was initiated in 1992 and currently over 250 are enrolled. The Council also conducts a two-day Annual Conference and Exhibition featuring nationally recognized speakers, an extensive exhibit area, 20 breakout sessions, and an awards luncheon honoring the winners of the Annual Governor's Safety Awards contest and graduates of the Safety Certificate Program.
Some of the courses offered through the council are; forklift safety training, defensive driving, standard first aide/CPR and advanced health & safety training techniques. They also have a fantastic catalog full of training materials, first aid kits, and technical publications on variety of standards.

BTMA is the Boston Chapter of the National Tooling and Machining Association. Our primary purpose is to promote the precision custom manufacturing industry in the region and to provide our members with the services and information that will assist them in the successful operation of their businesses.
The Manufactures Association of Maine, "Maine's Multi-Industry Connection", is a statewide industry association representing manufacturing, corporate, affiliate and student members. Our mission is to work for economic, financial, educational and business prosperity for all members and workers.
The Manufactures Association provides Affinity/Expense Control programs, Business Growth Services, B2B (Business-to-Business) electronic prospect business, Legislative Advocacy, Industry Education support, industry specific projects including Aircraft, Aerospace & Aviation Cluster Development, member advantages, links to all educational institutes, links to business resources and collaboration with state partners and much, much more! The Manufacturers Association has one of the largest scholarship programs in the state.
Housed and administered at the Manufacturers Association is the Maine Metal Products Association Education Fund, the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, National Institute for Metalworking Skills Management Center and the Hydrogen Energy Center. Our goal is to work in collaboration on behalf of the business community and the workers of Maine.
